Inmaculada Fellows Farms, Pichindé, Cali
Variety: Chili Bourbon
natural, 1750-2000 m

How exciting - again a coffee from the Inmaculada Fellows Farms Project convinced us in the blind cupping. This time it's a Chili Bourbon - but don't worry, the chili is only in the name ;) and just in case you're as curious as we are, why it's called like that: the cherries smell like chili when they are picked.

We are happy to be working with Inmaculada Fellows Farms again, because these coffees combine two things that are particularly important to us.

The origin: The beans for this Chili Bourbon come from local producers in the region around the famous Inmaculada Coffee Farm. By passing on a great deal of knowledge about agricultural and harvesting techniques, the coffee farmers are able to continually improve the quality of their cherries, thereby achieving higher sales prices and subsequently improving their quality of life.

The quality: Of course, it doesn't end with the cherries. Directly at Inmaculada, the processing (in this case natural/dry) takes place at the highest level after the harvest, which gives the coffee its typical character. The aromas speak for themselves, extraordinary complexity meets an elegant body. We are delighted to be able to present this coffee to you!
